The darkness is gathering – and Dark Woods Haunted Attraction is searching for the next members of its Scream Team.
Prospective scare actors are invited to audition for the 2026 Halloween season at Timber Ridge Adventure Park. This is your opportunity to step into character, join the creatures of Dark Woods and help bring North Louisiana’s premier haunted attraction to life.
2026 Scare Actor Auditions
Friday, August 28: 5:00–7:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 29: 2:00–4:00 p.m.
Prospective actors may attend either audition session.
New Scare Actor Training
Friday, September 11: 6:00–7:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 12: 1:00–2:00 p.m.
Returning Scare Actor Training
Saturday, September 12: 2:00–3:00 p.m.
Returning monsters can reconnect with the team, sharpen their performance skills and prepare for another season in the woods.

Dark Woods Announces 2026 Scream Team Auditions and Actor Training
Haunted Attraction Hours
This special nighttime Halloween event runs on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 pm to 11pm.
Event & Box Office Hours
Dark Woods operates from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on scheduled nights. The box office closes at 10:00 pm. Guests must arrive before the box office closes to enter.
Chaperone Policy
All guests age 17 or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone age 21 or older with a valid photo ID. One chaperone may supervise no more than three guests age 17 or younger. Chaperones must be present at entry, remain inside the park and be reachable by phone throughout the visit. Unaccompanied minors may be denied entry or removed from the event.

Halloween belongs to the Demons! NSU students can experience both Dark Woods haunted attractions for just $20 general admission with a valid NSU student ID. Discounted tickets must be purchased in person at the box office on October 31. Bring your crew and end Halloween screaming!
